Income from Urban Farming Beans ( Phaseolus vulgaris L. ) in Benpasi Village, Kefamenanu City District

Through a survey approach in June 2020, this study intends to (1) determine the general description; (2) income; and (3) calculate relative advantages of urban farming chickpeas Nekaf Mese farmer group Benpasi Village, Kefamenanu City District, North Central Timor Regency. The research respondents were chosen from purposive sample 20 farmers who members groups. quantitative descriptive method was employed find out. findings revealed that bean particularly Farmer Group, grow their own land, ranging size 6 9 acres, engage all stages farming, including seed preparation, land planting, maintenance, harvesting, post-harvest. Farmers' overall revenue activities is Rp. 36.550.000,- with an average 1,827,500,- for one planting season, total income earned 15,921,000, - 796,050, single season. Farmers made profit 1.74 activities, which means carried out by activities. Because computation results are more than 1, it can be economically profitable.
